Even some of the most common locations can inspire some quite interesting and thought-provoking photography. This photograph of a moving walkway in Rotterdam by Twan van den Hombergh caught my eye because of the colours and the curved lines. As I looked at it for longer I began to see an organic shape in the tunnel and what it reminded me of was a fly's head. The curved green parts are the bulbous eyes and the walkway is the rest of the face. I don't know if Twan saw the same thing as me, but in any case it's an interesting architectural photo.
Twan only has a limited portfolio at the moment on 500px, but he doesn't limit himself to just one style. I like his use of form and colour. Please use the link above to see the image on 500px and take your time to browse through the rest of his portfolio.
