Yes! I can see better now!
This is just such a brilliant photograph by Frans van Steijn, simple but with a huge impact. The composition is top class: the woman in the advertising poster represents what probably most pedestrians feel when they look at that road sign. She looks as if she is really concentrating hard on the signs. And then there is the man who is looking at her as if to say "Come on, we don't need to look at those".
So many of us don't look around at our environment, and Frans has shown us with this image the wonders of being observant. Frans is new to photography but already has a varied portfolio. One feature of his photography, which you can see in his architectural shots especially, is his keen eye for form and symmetry.
