London July 5 2019 (54) 22 Bishopsgate B&W
London is the most amazing city in the world, but that's just my biased opinion because I was born there. One of the biggest mistakes that people make when they walk along city streets is not to look up. There are so many interesting things going on above us, and for the most part we miss them. And it is for that reason that I was attracted to this photograph of 22 Bishopsgate by British photographer David Holt. Firstly, I love the perspective chosen by David for this image, and then I like the post-production work he has done on it. By making it black and white and and adjusting the contrast, he has created a high impact image where the sky and buildings almost merge one into the other. A really great shot!
David is a prolific photographer and chronicler of London. He has a vast portfolio and I recommend that you use the link above to see this image on Flickr and take your time to browse through the rest of his work, I'm sure you'll like what you see.
